Did you know you can visit the iconic site immortalised by John Lennon in The Beatles hit ‘Strawberry Fields Forever’? Well now you do! Strawberry Field opened its gates to the public for the first time in September 2019 and is a must visit for any Beatles fan visiting the city. Previously the site of a Salvation Army children’s home where John Lennon played in the grounds, Strawberry Field is now home to an interactive visitor exhibition, cafe, shop, calm gardens for reflection and the original Strawberry Field gates.

In 2020, the world-famous piano that John Lennon used to compose and record ‘Imagine’ was loaned to the Strawberry Field exhibition so you’ll also be able to take in a huge piece of musical history on your next visit.
