The award-winning Bongo’s Bingo has announced its run of festive shows in Liverpool this Christmas all the way to NYE – The Winner Takes It All.
The UK’s original and defining bingo rave phenomenon has been leading the way since April 2015 and this November and December is pulling out every stop possible for 20 epic dates with some very special guests in the city. Jonny Bongo and the team are incredibly proud to welcome Simon Webbe and Lee Ryan from Blue who will be joining them at each ABBA-inspired show of bingo fun at Content.
Infused with more festive magic than Hamleys, the shows will be stuffed like an Xmas stocking with lashings of merriment, majestic singalong music and prizes Santa would approve of.
Special guests Simon and Lee from Blue formed one of the UK's most successful boy bands ever. Launching to critical acclaim and fame in 2001, Blue have sold over 16 million albums and 40 million singles world-wide. And Boyzlife is a supergroup featuring Keith Duffy and Brian McFadden who previously appeared as members of '90s and '00s boybands Boyzone and Westlife respectively, selling ten of millions of albums and singles between them.
Jonny Bongo says: “Christmas is my favourite time of the year and to be announcing a run of 20 shows with Simon and Lee from Blue and the Boyzlife boys is really something special. We are making these shows as good as we possibly can, featuring all of the usual Bongo’s Bingo antics and a big fat dollop of Xmas love from us too.”
At Bongo’s Bingo, players come together for a wild mix of traditional bingo infused with hands-in-the-air music, raucous dancing and crowd Karaoke. Bongo’s Bingo combines the much-loved quaint pastime of bingo with a mesmeric live show, crazy antics and weird and wonderful prizes which have helped create one of the most talked about nights out in the country.
