Homotopia is the UK leading LGBT arts & cultural festival




Brouhaha International presents an innovative global festival offer for a global City, covering a wide range of art forms and locations, contributing to the city’s economic future, social health and tourism benefits as the UK’s ultimate city of visitor destination.

Festival 2017 entitled ‘Many Voices One Song’ (Rivers of Love) will builds on our local, regional, national and international partnerships, participants and visitors/audiences, with arts engagement programmes delivered in schools’ and communities across Merseyside and the Greater North of England increasing possibilities for weekend visits, particularly at our carnival events. Our festival will run for 12 days (13th-24thJuly) providing free indoor and outdoor arts events, carnival parades, local and international performances, schools workshops and emerging artist’s events.

We continue to assists in building the City’s reputation internationally, telling the story of Liverpool’s cultural renaissance more widely, from Cape Town, to Goa, from Amsterdam, to Lusaka, we take the brand of Liverpool with us with the name of Brouhaha interlinked with the City of Liverpool. Throughout 2017 we will present our work to audiences in Toulouse, Cape Town, Amsterdam, Austin, San Francisco, Rotterdam, Cologne, Lisbon and Martinique enabling us to promote and convey the key message of ‘Visit Liverpool’, Our diversity shapes our City.
