About

One of Liverpool’s favourite streets, Bold Street is home to the city’s independents and mixes the past, present and future of the city. Here’s how you can spend a day in the heart of Liverpool’s thriving Ropewalks area.

For an evening meal to wow your taste buds, a wander down Bold Street won't disappoint - although if you don't always book in advance, you may well be. From the Indian delights of the much sought after Mowgli Tiffin, to the nutrient jam-packed veggie/vegan treats at Love Thy Neighbour. Maray is the place of foodie dreams, and if you fancy some oysters and champs, Italian Club Fish is calling your name.

LEAF might be the place to enjoy a loose leaf tea, but it's also the place to enjoy a cocktail in the evening. There's Crust Pizza, Peruvian Chica, Morccocan flavours at Kasbah or the best Scouse in Liverpool at Maggie May's.

And of course, no visit to one of our favourite streets would be complete without heading all the way up to the Church of St Luke - also known as the Bombed Out Church by the locals. A much-loved landmark, that comes alive with events.

With tonnes of independent businesses opening here each year, Bold Street has never felt so thrilling. We think it's about time you experience it.
