Do you want to discover what the real taste of traditional home-cooked Thai food is all about? And, if you know, do you want to experience it again?
Well, you don’t need to take a 6,000 mile journey across the world to find out. You only need to go as far as Lark Lane in Sefton Park.
Because Chilli Banana is as authentic a Thai restaurant as you’re likely to find west of Bangkok … as you would expect from a three-times "Taste Liverpool” accredited restaurant.
Delicious Thai cuisine is prepared and served by a dedicated Thai team who create a relaxed atmosphere where you can enjoy the real thing. Chilli Banana food is not adapted for western tastes. This is the genuine article from friendly, attentive people with a passion for traditional regional cooking … the way it’s done in Thailand.
Chilli Banana – listed by Trip Advisor among Liverpool’s top restaurants - is an acclaimed combination of top class locally farmed produce, freshly imported Thai ingredients and the delicate flavours of Prachinburi family recipes that recreate a memorable taste of Thailand.
The regional Thai specialities change every month and menus include Saturday lunchtime street food, the ‘Express’ and ‘Special’ options, noodle soups, steamed rice plates and wok fried noodles. The food starts from as little as £3.25 and everything is available to take away too. Another option is ‘Sharing menu’ which include selection of starters , main course and drink for £19,95 per person.
Chilli Banana is not only a perfect place for couples. The restaurant reflects Thailand’s family culture and that’s why it comes into its own on Sundays from 1pm right through to 9pm. The full à la carte menu runs all day.
And, of course, there’s the unique children’s menu, suggested by young customers themselves, featuring junior versions of well-known Thai classics. Youngsters up to 12 years old have a choice of drink, main course and dessert for £6.95, every day of the week until 6.30pm.
And Chilli Banana’s upstairs floor is available for private hire for corporate or family use – from business meetings to birthday parties.
Chilli Banana – at 2 Lark Lane, Liverpool L17 8US – is close to Sefton Park with its popular Palm House, boating lake and leisure facilities.
