Punch Tarmey’s Liverpool has launched in what is one of the biggest Irish pubs in the industry.
Sports-led, including brewery tours, with a family-friendly vibe daytime along with being a destination for party revellers at night, the vast venue will become a tourism hotspot says Andrew Mikhail chairman of Mikhail Leisure.
“We’ve invested approaching £2m into Punch Tarmey’s Liverpool and it’s a professional and personal dream come true for me especially because of my Irish roots. My great grandfather was a renowned bare-knuckle fighter nicknamed Punch Tarmey, the name that gave birth to an existing portfolio of bars we own and operate in the region. We’ve already had great initial feedback with many people commenting on the transformation and how stunning the pub looks."
Punch Tarmey’s food and drink menu includes signature dishes such as a Trio of Irish sausages with colcannon and onion gravy, Pogues’ marinated chicken breast burger with all the trimmings, Irish stew with soda bread, Bacon chops, Colcannon mash and cabbage, Steak and Guinness pie and Chickpea, sweet potato and spinach curry (vegan).
Drinks across a wide artisan range of beers, wines and spirits include rare Irish whiskeys and gin, plus craft and cask beers and classic cocktails.
Head to the Baltic Triangle in Liverpool and ask for the Cains Brewery site…we are one of the largest developments in the vicinity.
Nearest central train station is Lime Street with Merseyrail's Central Station just a 20 minute walk
