The Refreshment Rooms are now open following the lockdown period.
Social distancing measures have been put in place and you must book before visiting. For more information and to book a table please see their website.
The Refreshment Rooms is based on the Wirral waterfront at Rock Ferry and over looks the Mersey Estuary. Established in the 1880's as part of the ferry complex and re-opened under the original name in 2012.
We serve food seven days a week from 12 noon until 9pm. Go to our Menu page on the website for our current Food and Drinks Menus. Visit our Menu Page for our Saturday Bistro Night Menu and our Special nights.
We have live music and a 1am bar on Fridays and Saturdays. For a list of bands and events see our What's On page.
Walkers and Cyclists - The Wirral Circular Trail is a 35 mile signposted trail, connecting up the public rights of way network with other routes around Wirral. A copy of the trail that includes the Refreshment Rooms and Rock Park can be viewed and/or download at VisitWirral.com. Speak to the Duty Manager or email us if you would like to book a picnic, lunch or maybe reserve a table for your return walk. We'll be happy to supply a drink for your well behaved dog and they are welcome as long as they are kept on a lead and accompanied at all times.
Free WiFi access is available - ask at the bar.
From Liverpool ( Queensway tunnel ), continue straight out of the tunnel towards Wirral and head along the A41. Go straight at the roundabout. At the next roundabout take the 3rd exit (straight on) onto the New Chester Road. Continue for approx 0.5 miles and turn left onto Bedford Road. At the end of the road turn right into Mersey Lane South , then take the 1st left onto Rock Lane East which will turn into Bedford Road East if you follow the road round and you will see The Refreshment Rooms.
Nearest train station: Rock Ferry. Approx 15 minute walk.
