Merseyrail are a Merseyside based train service with services running frequently to 68 stations across the region. Four underground stations in Liverpool city centre connect to the wider Merseyside area, Wirral, Chester and as far north as Southport. Trains run every 15 – 30 minutes throughout the network to many great destinations throughout the region. Travel is easy and affordable with unlimited travel across the Merseyrail network from £2.20 returns or just £5.50 with a Day Saver or £11 for a family of up to five with a Family Ticket. The Day Saver and Family ticket are for off-peak travel and can be used any time after 0930 Monday – Friday and any time on weekends and bank holidays, giving you plenty of freedom to explore Merseyside.

Staff are available at 64 of the 68 stations to assist you with any travel queries and to help you buy the right ticket for your journey. Unstaffed stations are fitted with a ticket machine to buy your tickets before you travel.
