Congratulations to Eureka! Science + Discovery who won the Accessible & Inclusive Tourism Award and New Tourism Business of the Year at the Liverpool City Region Tourism Awards for 2024
The Accessible and Inclusive Tourism Award, was a new category at the awards in 2024 and is awarded to an organisation showing continued dedication to ensuring every visitor feels welcomed, valued and empowered.
Judges praised Eureka for staff knowledge and enthusiasm, detailed website accessibility information including photos and virtual tours, and a wide range of accessible facilities and adjustments.
On Eureka’s dedication to accessibility, Judges said:
“It’s obvious that a great deal of thought has been given to what needed to be done to make the attraction fully accessible and inclusive. It was clear that accessibility forms an integral part of the business”.
