This year Christmas may look a little different but that doesn’t mean we can’t still spread some much needed festive cheer.
The Liverpool we know and love is still here. Our culture, our history, our people and our venues haven’t gone away. Put them at the heart of your Christmas.
The city is alive with trees, lights and decorations; take them all in as we countdown to a Christmas like never before.
This year, Christmas isn’t cancelled… it’s just different and there are still plenty of things you can get up to in Liverpool this festive season whilst following social distancing rules. From pantos to craft fairs, Christmas shopping and bottomless brunch there’s still lots to do.
Christmas shopping might be a little different this year. With the UK being in national lockdown until 2nd December and shops and restaurants being closed until then we will have to adapt how we tick off our Christmas shopping list.
Christmas in Liverpool might be a little different this year but it’s certainly not cancelled. The lights are on, the Christmas trees are up and the city is still full of festive cheer. If you’re looking for a way to explore Liverpool with your household or support bubble then follow our Christmas Walk to see it all!
We're unable to visit our favourite restaurants and attractions at the moment but we can still buy gift vouchers for Liverpool venues to use at a later date.
In the few weeks running up to Christmas, restaurants, bars and coffee shops have adapted their venues to make sure they are safe for us to visit to celebrate the festive period with our household or support bubble. From bottomless brunch, to festive drinks, roast dinners and Christmas treats, Liverpool has it all.
As all non-essential retail, attractions and restaurants will have to close from 6 January for a national lockdown, we will be unable to visit our favourite places until they reopen. Until then, we can still support our local businesses by shopping with them online!
