From Wales to Australia, the Aquarium at Liverpool's World Museum showcases fish from all over the world! Explore rarely-seen exhibits from the museum collections and dive into an aquatic world of wonder!
The Living Laboratory is a dedicated learning and activity space where even very young children get up close to the sea life in special low level tanks. The World Museum's expert staff are always on hand to answer any quizzical brains and run demonstrations. Video cameras and microscopes bring visitors face to face with tiny maritime organisims!
In the Living Laboratory, displays and activities explain links between the living creatures and the museum's historic collection of spirit-preserved fish and invertebrates.
Video conferencing facilities are also available to link through to behind the scenes activity, events in the Treasure House Theatre and other parts of the museum, or even to special events in other aquariums across the world.
World Museum is in Liverpool city centre, close to the entrance to the Queensway Tunnel and Lime Street station.
