Museum of Liverpool, Tate Liverpool, Walker Art Gallery, Maritime Museum and World Museum all have child-friendly galleries, exhibitions and events. The beautiful Central Library has a large children’s section with lots of space to read and relax.

Liverpool has more parks than Paris – a run around one of these will make sure kids burn off some energy.

Stay in Liverpool and you’re well situated to enjoy a wild day out at Knowsley Safari Park or Chester Zoo. Head to Southport for seaside amusements and beach fun, or to Wirral for a day out at the resurgent New Brighton resort or a cycle along the Wirral Way.
