Liverpool Biennial is a platform for research, commissioning and presenting international art, education and debate. Every two years, the Biennial Exhibition brings an international focus to our work. It is the moment when the world comes to Liverpool to engage with our thinking and when we present art to the world.
The next Biennial will take place from 11July - 25 October 2020.
Since it was founded in 1998 by James Moores, Liverpool Biennial has commissioned over 340 new artworks from more than 480 artists around the world, including collaborative neighbourhood projects in the city.
Please note that the Biennial office is not open to the public. Take a look at their commissions to see the art throughout the city.
