Road Directions

From the north leave the M6 at junction 26 and follow signs for M58 Liverpool.From the south leave the M6 at junction 21A and take the M62 to Liverpool.Then follow the brown road signs to the Waterfront or if you want to use a satellite navigation device you can use the post code for Tate Liverpool - L3 4BB which will take you to Albert Dock.

Public Transport Directions

By Bus: Most Liverpool city centre-bound buses will call at either Queen Square bus station (a 15-minute walk) or Liverpool ONE Bus Station, which is directly opposite the Liverpool Waterfront The CityLink Route C4 bus links Queen Square bus station, James Street rail station and Liverpool ONE Bus Station to the Liverpool Waterfront. CityLink Route C4 operates every 30 minutes on Mondays to Sundays, between 7am – 8pm. By Train: Virgin Trains operates hourly, direct services from London Euston to Liverpool Lime Street. Other long-distance rail services also operate into Liverpool Lime Street station. Liverpool Waterfront is a 20-minute walk from Lime Street or a short taxi ride. You can also transfer at Lime Street onto the underground Wirral Line trains to James Street station (10-minute walk) or catch the CityLink Route C4 directly to the Waterfront.A number of cycle routes enable cyclists to easily get to Liverpool Waterfront by bicycle. Liverpool Waterfront also has a citybike station at the Pier Head. Walking in Liverpool city centre is an enjoyable experience and the best way to take in the city. Pedestrianised areas around Liverpool ONE link to the wide Waterfront boulevard and the rest of the Waterfront
