Like everyone, our priority has to be health – of visitors, locals and the many people who have made this such an amazing place to visit.
We know people have a lot of practical questions so we’ve tried to answer them here.

Things to do in Liverpool. Well, the only problem you might have is choosing exactly what. With more museums and galleries than any other UK city, that’s a good place to start. 

 

Culture in Liverpool 
 

National Museums Liverpool have a number of museums and galleries across the City Region. Whether you’re into maritime, the world and its creatures, art, or even if you want to deep sea dive into the history of Liverpool City Region you can, for free at the Maritime Museum, World Museum, Lady Lever Art Gallery or the Museum of Liverpool

There’s modern art at FACT and both traditional and radical at Tate Liverpool. That’s just the start, for more arts and culture you won’t have to look far.

While you’re here, keep your head up and take in the breath-taking architecture of the city. Hop onto a tour bus or a walking tour. If you’d prefer to stay indoors pop over to RIBA, the Royal Institute of British Architecture's National Architecture Centre. Music in Liverpool
 

We’ve music venues all over the city region. From the historic Cavern Club to the modern and creative Invisible Wind Factory. Liverpool’s the home of legendary Cream, where house music began and still thrives. You’ll catch them on the docks and in the parks.

Classical music homes in Liverpool too at the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic. Just round the corner you’ll find the Arts Club that plays host to DJ sets and club nights. Brand new bands take to the stage at the Jacaranda, Phase One and the o2. If music’s high on your agenda, then of course we’ve got a blog for that too.

Shopping in Liverpool
 

Liverpool scores highly in the rankings for shopping. We love to shop here and we reckon you'll be impressed. We're home to the only Beauty Bazaar, Harvey Nichols for all the beauty lovers. The biggest high-street brands line the streets in Liverpool ONE and on Church Street. Bold Street and Red Brick Vintage are havens of vintage and independent. 

 

Food and Drink in Liverpool
 

Food festivals, food halls, fine dining and fine wine. Liverpool’s food and drink scene is thriving and can be enjoyed in many quarters. Liverpool Waterfront plays host to the Bordeaux Wine Festival every year, while Duke Street Market houses some of the finest small plate restaurants all year round.

A truly international city boasts truly international cuisine - from the Italian Club Fish to Vegan Curries at Sanskruiti. Don’t know what tickles your fancy? Outdoor Spaces in Liverpool
 

More parks than Paris! A bold, but true statement. Liverpool’s Sefton Park is the largest Grade I listed park in the UK. It boasts a lake and 200 acres of parkland to explore. We’ve botanic Gardens in Southport and Wirral, a Red Squirrel Reserve in Formby and not forgetting the miles of coastline. Green spaces are valuable and should be treasured as well as enjoyed. Explore Liverpool’s outdoor spaces, but please respect them too.
