Due to the current Coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak, the Cavern Club is currently closed. For further updates please visit their Twitter account.
Cavern Pub, Festival Food and Drink are still open and The Beatles Magical Mystery Tour remains operational.
The legendary cellar that has seen seven incredible decades of music; from The Beatles first performance on 9th February 1961 to the Arctic Monkeys pre-breakthrough gig in October 2005, the Cavern Club remains the beating heart of Liverpool’s iconic music scene.
The iconic stage beneath the brick arches in the front of the club is the image most people associate with the Cavern Club - and this is where you can enjoy live music from soloists and cover bands from mid-afternoon until late evening. Open 7 days a week from 10am, you’ll experience everything from Rock n Roll to solo acoustic, as well as Cavern Club resident artists and top-class Merseybeat tribute acts. This is the place you need to be to truly experience the evocative spirit of the most famous club in the world.
From the Cavern Club, follow signs towards the Cavern Live Lounge where a state-of-the-art sound system is waiting to blare out the very best artists. Expect established acts, The Cavern Club Beatles tribute shows and plenty of legendary rock artists.
The third venue comes in the form of the Cavern Pub; open daily from 11am with a staggering amount of Cavern and rock memorabilia on display, including live music every night that won’t cost you a penny. Serving paninis, toasties, sandwiches, wraps and even quality hand raised pork pie, you’ve got no excuses to leave. Those of you who have had the pleasure of taking a trip aboard the Magical Mystery Tour can also receive 10% off your food bill by simply show your boarding card to a member of staff upon ordering too.
Last but by no means least is the all important souvenir shop. No trip to the Cavern can be without it, and you can take with you merchandise including t-shirts, CDs, books, pin badges and postcards, or shop it all online here.
For that special occasion – whether it be birthdays, anniversaries or for business – the venue is available for private hire.
