The award-winning ‘The Beatles Story’ is the world's largest permanent exhibition purely devoted to telling the story of The Beatles’ rise to fame.
Located in the Fab Four’s hometown of Liverpool on the stunning Royal Albert Dock, The Beatles Story is Liverpool’s leading Beatles’ attraction taking visitors on a unique immersive journey through the lives, times, culture and music of the world’s greatest band.

Multi-media audio guides are available in twelve different languages including English, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Mandarin, Polish, Russian, Spanish, Brazilian Portuguese, Korean and Cantonese. Beautifully narrated by John Lennon’s sister, Julia, the FREE guide is packed with information, imagery, and features video interviews with Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr, giving visitors a fascinating insight into the story of the Fab Four.
A must for any music fan, The Beatles Story features an impressive collection of memorabilia including the band’s original instruments, John Lennon’s New York piano, Ringo Starr’s drum kit, rare album sleeves, photography and original hand-written lyrics.
The award-winning attraction celebrated its 30th anniversary in 2020 and visitors can see newly introduced items and exhibits including a display to celebrate Ringo’s 80th birthday, new immersive experiences in the replica Cavern Club room and John Lennon’s White Room and exciting new memorabilia.

Car and Coach parking is available on the Kings Dock, which is adjacent to the Albert Dock. A small charge is made for this service.
Additional parking available at Arena and Convention Centre Multi-storey car park and Q Park on Liver Street.
Rail: Liverpool Lime St (mainline) is 15 min walk or 7 min taxi from The Beatles Story.
Bus: The Beatles Story is 5 min walk from Paradise Bus Station & 10 min walk from Queens Square Bus Station. Bus routes 1 & 4 stop at Albert Dock.
Air: Liverpool John Lennon Airport is 9 miles from The Beatles Story (20 min taxi). Manchester Airport is 40 minutes by road or train.
