Welcome to The Light Cinemas. A new outlook on how the cinema experience should be enjoyed.
We are proud to bring The Light Cinemas experience to New Brighton at Marine Point and intend to create not just a cinema, but a social hub for the whole community. We welcome your comments either via this site or on our Facebook page so we can continue to improve your cinema.
The Light is an 8 screen cinema with state of the art digital picture and sound auditorium. All our seats are luxurious extra width as standard compared to most multiplexes.
•Upon entering the cinema you will be welcomed into our café bar where you can have a drink before the film begins. As all our screens are licensed you are free to take your refreshments into the screen to enjoy with your movie.
•Wheelchair spaces are available in all screens and we provide IR headsets for the hard of hearing so they may fully enjoy the film of their choice.
•Private screenings and corporate bookings are easily organised, just contact us via one of the methods on the contact us link.
•There is ample free parking on site at Marine Point. This can be found by following the signs for Morrisons.

Leave the M53 at junction 1 - signposted Wallasey / Birkenhead, at the bottom of the slip-road take the first exit off the roundabout joining the A554 - signposted New Brighton. At the second roundabout turn right and proceed along the promenade for approx 1 mile. You will see Morissons supermarket on your left - turn in here, where you will find ample free parking.
Nearest Railway Station: New Brighton
New Brighton train station is only 5 minutes walk from Marine Point. Turn left out of the station onto Atherton Road and continue to the end of the road where you will turn right onto the promenade. You will see Marine Point on your left.
