About

The Sefton Coastal Path is a beautiful journey through a variety of landscapes - perfect for blowing away those cobwebs. Along the route youll find that each landscape has a rich biodiversity of wildlife and a fascinating history.

From sandy beaches to coastal marshes and dunes. There pine woodlands for little explorers, heathery heathland and tidal estuaries with vistas across the Irish Sea to North Wales, Snowdonia and even the Lake District on a clear day.

The Sefton Coastal Path can be walked and parts of the route are suitable for cyclists. It can easily be completed over a weekend based in Southport, or it can be broken up into individual short walks as desired.

For more information and suggested stages of the walk go to VisitSouthport's listing.
