NPhysical Fest celebrates the world’s most exciting, contemporary physical theatre, bringing a variety of new work to the north for the first time, creating a festival that explores, questions, and encourages creativity.It is unique to the north as is the only international physical theatre festival, specialising solely in the art form in the UK, and one of two in Europe. It is also the only international theatre festival in the Liverpool City Region.The festival, established in 2005, has attracted participants from all over the world, bringing the city and its spaces/venues alive, in a celebration of a variety of physical work through performance, workshops, debate, industry events and associated bursary and participatory programmes.
