COVID-19 Liverpool Update

Currently there are no restrictions limiting travel to Liverpool, and many of our attractions, bars and restaurants remain open. However, there are restrictions including a ban on different households meeting in indoor spaces and compulsory mask-wearing in many venues. For the latest advice we’ve compiled this FAQs section which will continue to be updated as the situation develops.

Things to do in Liverpool. Well, the only problem you might have is choosing exactly what. With more museums and galleries than any other UK city, that’s a good place to start.

Culture in Liverpool 


National Museums Liverpool have a number of museums and galleries across the City Region. Whether you’re into maritime, the world and its creatures, art, or even if you want to deep sea dive into the history of Liverpool City Region you can, for free at the Maritime Museum, World Museum, Lady Lever Art Gallery or the Museum of Liverpool

There’s modern art at FACT and both traditional and radical at Tate Liverpool. That’s just the start, for more arts and culture you won’t have to look far.

While you’re here, keep your head up and take in the breath-taking architecture of the city. Hop onto a tour bus or a walking tour. If you’d prefer to stay indoors pop over to RIBA, the Royal Institute of British Architecture's National Architecture Centre. Music in Liverpool

Food and Drink in Liverpool

Food festivals, food halls, fine dining and fine wine. Liverpool’s food and drink scene is thriving and can be enjoyed in many quarters. Liverpool Waterfront plays host to the Bordeaux Wine Festival every year, while Duke Street Market houses some of the finest small plate restaurants all year round.

A truly international city boasts truly international cuisine - from the Italian Club Fish to Vegan Curries at Sanskruiti. Don’t know what tickles your fancy? Outdoor Spaces in Liverpool

More parks than Paris! A bold, but true statement. Liverpool’s Sefton Park is the largest Grade I listed park in the UK. It boasts a lake and 200 acres of parkland to explore. We’ve botanic Gardens in Southport and Wirral, a Red Squirrel Reserve in Formby and not forgetting the miles of coastline. Green spaces are valuable and should be treasured as well as enjoyed. Explore Liverpool’s outdoor spaces, but please respect them too.

For the first time in its 100+ year history, Liverpool’s world famous Royal Liver Building has unlocked its doors to the public with the launch of Royal Liver Building 360, a brand new, must-see visitor experience and fully guided tower tour.
