The Hall dates back over 500 years as the historical seat of the Earls of Derby. Knowsley Safari Park, opened since 1971, offers an incredible wildlife experience. Other attractions include the drive through baboon jungle, children’s lake farm, woodland walk, the bug house, amusement park and Sea Lion exhibition pool. A great day out for all the family.
Knowsley 4x4 is situated within the grounds of Knowsley Safari Park, with over 100 acres of beautiful countryside at our disposal. Off-road driving, air rifle shooting, rally karts, archery, JCB driving, paintballing, quad biking and much, much more. This is one of the best places in the UK for hen and stag parties, family days out, team building, corporate days, and manufacturers’ launches or for just having fun!

Leave the M62 at junction 6, then at roundabout take the 5th exit and join the M57 motorway northbound (signposted Southport, Docks)Leave the M57 at junction 2 (signposted Knowsley Safari Park and Prescot), then at roundabout take the 4th exit onto Knowsley Lane - B5194 (signposted Knowsley Village also sign for Knowsley Hall.) Continue down Knowsley Lane for ¾ mile; take the first turning on the right, George Hale Avenue, opposite the school at the end of the green railings (signed Knowsley Hall.) Go over the motorway bridge to Huyton Lodge Gates. Please press the numbers 827 on the keypad at Huyton Lodge gates, if the gates are not already open. The gates will then be opened automatically once you have identified yourself and will close behind you once you are through them.
