Following a lockdown period due to Coronavirus (COVID-19), Croxteth Hall remains closed. The Country Park and Farm are currently open.
Croxteth Country Park is a 500 acre nature reserve and working farm. Please keep to social distancing guidelines and stay two metres apart from anyone who is not part of your household. Please ensure litter is placed in bins provided. If bins are full please take your litter home.
Now managed by the City of Liverpool, Croxteth Hall Country Park is at the heart of what was once a fantastic country estate and ancestral home of the Molyneux family, the Earls of Sefton. A wonderful family day out, Croxteth Hall Country Park is one of the "finest working country estates in the North West (England)."
Within the estate, visitors will find five main attractions.These are the Historic Hall, Croxteth Home Farm, the Victorian Walled Garden where visitors can explore Liverpool's historic botanical collection. A 500 acre country park and nature reserve and one of Liverpool's oldest public buildings, West Derby Courthouse. The courthouse dates from the Elizabeth I reign.
For youngsters there is an adventure playground, minature railway and an orienteering trail.

From the M62 – at the Liverpool end of the M62 follow the A5058 inner ring road (Queens Drive) and turn right onto Muirhead Avenue – the Car Park entrance is at the next roundabout. From the M57 – at Junction 4 of the M57 turn towards Liverpool (East Lancs Road, A580). At Dwerryhouse Lane turn left – the Car Park entrance is at the next roundabout. From Liverpool City Centre – follow signs for the A580 then turn right onto Dwerryhouse Lane – the Car Park entrance is at the next roundabout. For Satnav – use postcode L11 1EH (nearest to roundabout at Car Park entrance). Disabled permit holders can park close to the Hall, using the Croxteth Hall Lane service entrance, L12 0HB (also signposted from the roundabout at the main car park).
