The Liverpool Wall of Fame is located on the famous Mathew Street, within Liverpool's Cavern Quarter. The Wall features 54 Liverpool based musician Number 1 UK chart hits since 1952. It was unveiled in 2001, by Lita Roza the artist of the song "How Much is That Doggie in the Window?" - The first Liverpool-based artist number 1 hit.
The wall is dominated by The Beatles who regularly played at the original Cavern Club, located on Mathew Street.

Situated on Mathew street close to the city centre.
Public Transport Directions
From Lime Street Train Station -
Exit via main entrance, cross over lights and head towards Bus Stops / Royal Court Theatre. Follow the Bus Stops around until you meet Yate's pub, now turn left onto Whitechapel. Follow road until you see Wade Smith shop, then turn right onto Stanley Street - Mathew Street is now the first left.
From James Street Station -
Exit via main entrance, turn left past Victoria Monument and onto Lord Street towards the shops. Turn left onto North John Street and Mathew Street is the second street on the right.
From Paradise Street Bus Station / Parking -
If leaving from the top of the Bus Station then turn right and follow North John Street as above. If leaving near bottom then turn left, go past McDonalds & GAP shop, and onto WhiteChapel. Turn left onto Stanley Street - Mathew Street is now the first left.
