About

Merseytravel are excited to announce that they are planning for the return of Mersey Tunnel Tours from Thursday 26 August 2021. Tickets are now on sale!

To help keep everyone safe Merseytravel has reduced the capacity of the tours to 16 people. Visitors will also be required to wear a face covering on the tour, when standing together in a group situation. Hand sanitiser is available throughout the tour and Merseytravel would encourage visitors to sanitise their hands and keep a safe distance from other visitors.

Mersey Tunnel Tours have been awarded the official UK ‘We’re Good To Go’ mark to show that they have followed government and industry Covid-19 guidelines and have processes in place to maintain cleanliness and aid social distancing. For more information about Tunnel Tours and the Covid-19 safety procedures please check out their website.

For groups of 10 or more and educational groups, tours can be arranged at other times outside of the normal tour times. Please email tours@merseytravel.gov.uk or call 0151 330 1004 for more information.
