Best of Liverpool (2 Days)

Here's our two-day Liverpool for groups itinerary.

On your first day, start at the Royal Albert Dock. You can choose to visit the Beatles Story, Tate Liverpool or the Merseyside Maritime Museum, or simply stroll around and enjoy the scenery, shops, cafes and restaurants.

A short walk along the waterfront is the Museum of Liverpool, which brings Liverpool’s incredible heritage to life.

Admire the Three Graces, including Royal Liver Building 360, a new, must-see visitor experience and fully guided tower tour. Take in the views from the Pier Head, head inside the Cunard Building to explore popular music from 1940s to present day at British music Experience.

Not far away is the Liverpool ONE shopping district for some souvenirs of your visit, and a great choice of restaurants.

Make your way down to Mathew Street for a taste of Beatles Liverpool. A trip to the Cavern is a must.

You could also take in a show at the Everyman, Empire or Playhouse theatres, the Philharmonic Hall or Echo Arena.

Start Day 2 with a trip to Anfield, home of Liverpool Football Club. A stadium tour is an unforgettable glimpse behind the scenes at this famous sporting destination.

Back in the city centre, Hope Street is a great place to grab some lunch and visit the two Cathedrals, situated at either end of the street. Liverpool Cathedral is the largest in Britain while the Catholic Metropolitan Cathedral has a modern design with stunning glass windows.

William Brown Street is possibly the most beautiful and striking in Liverpool, home to St George’s Hall, the Walker Art Gallery, Central Library and World Museum. If you’re travelling by train, it’s very close to Liverpool Lime Street station. You'll also find Liverpool Empire Theatre which plays host to many musicals direct from the West End.

Liverpool prides itself on its vast choice of accommodation – from luxury big brands to independent hostels, quirky BnB’s to city-centre boltholes – you can rest easy when you come to this city with out choice of Accomodation.
