Liverpool is well connected by road, rail, air and sea! Served by two international airports - Liverpool and Manchester. Liverpool Lime Street station connects the city to the wider UK rail system with services from multiple operators. 

 

The UK Motorway network serves the Liverpool City Region via the M6, M62, M58 and M56 and so is easily accessed by car and various coach networks.

Merseyrail

Merseyrail connects Liverpool City Region and further afield towards Chester. There are two lines, Northern Line which connects Liverpool and the Wirral Line connecting to Wirral, Ellesmere Port and Chester.

By Air 

Liverpool John Lennon Airport connects Liverpool with over 70 destinations across the UK, Europe and Africa.

Travel to and from Liverpool Airport is simple via direct bus routes which can be seen here.

There's also the option to get the Merseyrail train to Liverpool South Parkway and take the airport shuttle service. Trains towards Hunts Cross stop at Liverpool South Parkway.
