Iconic: Liverpool Waterfront
Steeped in history and culture

The Waterfront is shrouded in both history and beauty. The Pier Head is home to the iconic Three Graces, Royal Liver Building, Cunard Building and The Port of Liverpool Building. It’s where one Liver Bird watches over its home city and the other looks out to sea, waiting for their family’s safe return.
Pier Head is where visitors can catch the iconic Ferry Cross the Mersey, say hello to the larger than life Fab Four, explore light trails and even enjoy gigs from local and international music stars.
Along the waterfront is the Royal Albert Dock, the largest collection of Grade I listed buildings in the country. A beautifully restored former working dock, The Royal Albert Dock is a must visit and home to museums, galleries, shops and eateries.
Next door to the dock is the M&S Bank Arena, playing host to several huge gigs and conventions throughout the year.
Heading in the opposite direction towards the opening of the Mersey is Cruise Liverpool, the Liverpool Cruise Terminal, The Isle of Man Steam Packet terminal and of course Bramley Moore Dock - the soon to be home of Everton FC.
Aside from all the things to see and do on the Waterfront there’s also plenty of places to stay too including Titanic Hotel, Leonardo, Malmaison and Pullman.
Closest Merseyrail station: James Street (Wirral Line only), Moorfields (Wirral and Northern Line)
