A Matter of Life & Death

Based on the film by Michael Powell and Emeric Pressburger. Adapted by Tom Morris and Emma Rice

On 2 May 1945 airman Peter Carter is shot down whilst on a mission, flying through pea-soup fog. Miraculously, he awakes on the shore of an idyllic beach. The only problem being, he should be dead. If Peter wishes to remain alive, and be with the woman he loves, he must fight his case against the heavens in the Universal Court of Appeal.

First produced at the National Theatre and created by the acclaimed Kneehigh Theatre Company, this production poses a life-affirming and theatrical presentation.

Performed by third-year LIPA Acting students.

Suitable for all ages. An amateur production by arrangement with United Agents.

7.30pm (plus 2.30pm matinee, Saturday 23 March)
Venue: Paul McCartney Auditorium
