The countdown is on until Africa Oyé will be flourishing in Liverpool’s Sefton Park again in 2017. With another stellar festival set to take place, it is the UK's largest free celebration of African music and culture taking place annually in Liverpool.

Road Directions

Exit the M62 at jct 4, turn left onto Queens Drive. Follow Queens Drive (A5058) across the major jct with Menlove Ave & Allerton Rd to merge into Mossley Hill. After going under a railway tunnel, at next traffic lights turn right into North Mossley Hill Rd. Turn at next left into Greenbank Lane. At end turn left when you will see the Park perimeter.

Public Transport Directions

St Michael’s Train Station is 1 mile from the Park. Travel up Belgrave Road until you get to Aigburth Road. Cross the road to Lark Lane, follow Lark Lane to the End.
By Bus: 75 from Lime Street to Ullet Road (bordering the park) every 10 mins, 80 from Lime St to Ullet Road every 15 mins, 80A Lime Street to Ullet Road every 15 mins. Additionally there is train service from Central Station to St Michael’s which would then involve a short walk across Aigburth Road and up Lark Lane.
