The train from Liverpool to Southport is every 15 minutes so you can be in Southport in under 50 minutes and home before the last train leaves Southport.
The British Musical Fireworks Championship is a pyro musical competition. This means that the fireworks are to with the music and the entire show is choreographed to give you, the audience, some of the most spectacular fireworks you will ever see.
Over three nights, there will be seven 15 minute displays. Starting on Friday with 2 displays, Saturday 3 displays and Sunday 2 displays. A panel of professional judges mark each display before announcing the winner on the Sunday evening.
If you are staying in Liverpool you can escape the hustle and bustle of the great city and take tme out by the coast for a few nights?
During the competition, over two tonnes of explosive material were used with the total weight of fireworks used in excess of 10 tonnes! Each show required around 5 kilometres of wire to connect the electrical circuits and around 15 technicians working for over 12 hours to set up the display. All of this ensured the very best and most entertaining firework displays on each night!
Competitors will be announced and tickets will go on sale in early 2020.
