On May 20 May, LightNight is unlocking the doors of Liverpool’s best-loved and lesser-known arts, culture and heritage venues late into the night.
A culture crawl like no other, visitors of all ages are invited to follow an unforgettable trail of events in celebration of the city’s year-round world-class cultural offer.
LightNight invites audiences to stay up late, as our museums, galleries and studios throw open their doors to stage a free trail of special events for all ages, exploring the theme of Energy.
What is energy? Where does it come from and how is it best used? Can we continue to act as though we have limitless energy and infinite resources?
We will explore how energy underpins everything in the universe. All of life, nature and human activity is powered through a perpetual dance of energy conversion and transformation, and we will explore these processes to consider the relationship we have with our physical, interpersonal, and metaphysical environment.
