After careful consideration and following government guidance, we have made the difficult decision not to go ahead with this year’s River Festival which was due to take place along the waterfront from 8-10 May.
It is important we prioritise the health and safety of everyone in these unprecedented times. We’re gutted. l know how much this event means to residents, visitors, local suppliers and artists, and how much money goes in to the local economy as a result of staging it.
