Southport Air Show

About

The Southport Air Show is the number one family day out in the North West. Young or old, you are guaranteed to fall in love with the aviation world.

On Friday you can see the thrill of the Red Arrows as they perform daring and breath-taking aerobatics in the sky, and with pyros on planes and a grand firework finale this is an evening you will not forget! And with the last train being after 23:00 to Liverpool, you won't miss any of the action!

Over the weekend there is a packed flying schedule and with the RAF 100 we have a fitting tribute with the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight, Bristol Blenheim and Spitfires flying over the weekend.

On Sunday the AWESOME Typhoon will leave you covering your ears and watching in awe.

And that is not all! We have so much happening on the ground too!

You can wander around the Air Show Village, testing your agility on climbing frames or experience the closest thing to flying a jet in a simulator.

Visit the Military Village - watch a Royal Marine doing demonstrations in a diving tank, look at the military equipment and have a go on the climbing wall.

On the beach there is a paintball range, bungee trampolines, land zorbs and much more!

And it's not far from Liverpool!

Southport is a 47 minutes from Liverpool Central and with trains every 15 minutes the Southport Air Show is easy to get to.

Avoid the traffic by arriving early and visit the town; do a spot of shopping, go to the cinema, bowling alley, grab a bite to eat or wander through the Air Show Village.

Southport Air Show was awarded a highly commendable event of the year in the Liverpool City Region Tourism Awards this year and with excellent ratings on Trip Advisor you can see why people keep coming back for more.

Buy your tickets in advance and avoid the ticket queues - simply print off or show your phone to be scanned at the gate! With so much to see and do, what are you wiating for?
