About

Southport Flower Show is the largest independent flower show in the country and is set to be bigger and better than ever before so why not make it a ‘must see’ whilst visiting Liverpool.

The theme, The Curious Garden is inspired by a sense of mystery, wonder and curiosity. Find your way through the foliage to reveal the strange and delightful secrets of the British garden. Through a twist, a turn and a secret door - what will you discover?

The Southport Flower is a great day out for the entire family and only 20 miles along the coast of Sefton from Liverpool.

Discover a wealth of entertainment such as stunt bikes, sand artists, music and children’s activities. The Food Festival has live cooking demonstrations in the cookery theatre and then head over to the gourmet producers to buy and sample products.

Best part? Kids go free… so you can bring as many budding gardeners as you like, and you’ll only need to buy tickets for Mum, Dad, Gran, Grandad – or whoever else wants to come along!

The show gardens are the biggest feature of the Southport Flower Show. Constructed by garden designers in less than 2 weeks the inspiration is based on the theme of the show and this year the exhibitors go head to head to create the most Curious Garden to impress judges.

If you are travelling from Liverpool car parking is clearly signposted upon arrival to Southport and there is a park and ride facility at Birkdale Golf Club which drops you at the Southport Eco Centre – right next to Victoria Park.

Even easier jump the train direct from Liverpool and 50 minutes later you could be on the shuttle bus available from the station to Victoria Park.

If you wish to explore Southport once here, you can get a pass out so can explore the town. Take a look at our Food and Drink section where you will find a wealth of independent restaurants, cafes and bars all serving local and fresh quality produce.

Relax and take your time before heading back to Liverpool as this is a great weekend for all of the family so make sure you book your tickets in advance to take advantage of the fantastic discounted tickets.
