Just a 50 minute train direct from Liverpool Central station to Southport Train station the Southport Food and Drink Festival is a perfect day out by the coast.
Set in the beautiful Victoria Park, there will be entertainment from local bands throughout the day so once you have chosen what to eat you can sit on the grass, chill out and soak up the atmosphere.

Stimulate your senses and try food from different cultures – you can enjoy crepes, gourmet burgers, hot wings, churros, spiral potatoes, paella and curry from the Street Food stalls.
Tantalise the taste buds by sampling the different produce around the event - handmade cheeses, sausages, sweet and savoury pies, chutneys and pickles are just a few of the delights that can be taken home.
The atmosphere is brought alive with live music throughout the day and if you are bringing the family head over to the Children’s Festival where circus workshops, food themed activities and more will be taking place to keep little ones will be entertained all day.
The free activities include Arts and Crafts from The Creation Station, Magic Shows from Mr Stix, Story Times with Jude from Little Lambs Tails, Sports Workshops from Sport Skills Academy plus Reptiles North West will be showcasing some of their wonderful creatures.
There will also be a range of activities children can participatein for a small fee. These include; Face Painting from Funky Faces Southport, Glitter Tattoos and Nail Bar from Daisy Beauty, Fab Party Bags will be providing “pocket money items' and Little Learners will be providing messy play activities.
Sit back, relax, enjoy good food, admire the surroundings and soak up the atmosphere of the Southport Food and Drink Festival.
