Vivaldi Gloria at Liverpool Metropolitan Cathedral
Performed by the Universities Group with a 'Come and Sing' Choir
Following the completion of the Metropolitan Cathedral’s Grand Organ Restoration, the Cathedral Music Department are delighted to be able to invite you to a performance of Vivaldi Gloria on Saturday 25th March 2023 at 7pm.
We are thrilled that the Cathedral have joined forces with Liverpool Hope University to host the Universities Group Festival as part of our ‘Come and Sing’ cohort. This will mean 7 university choirs from across the country will join the local community to sing what will be a spectacular concert.
To SING in the choir - please purchase a 'Come and Sing ticket'
To attend in the audience - please purchase a 'Audience Ticket'
Please note the Cathedral has a small Pay and Display car park, used on a first come first serve basis. It is not possible to reserve spaces. There are several large car parks within proximity of the Cathedral (Mount Pleasant & the University of Liverpool Car Park).
As the 25th March 2023 is the Feast of the Annunciation, we will also perform a piece that will be specially composed for the occasion by Dr Rebekah Okpoti (Lecturer at Liverpool Hope University).
