What’s On in Liverpool

What's On

You might know that we’re pretty good at putting on a show in Liverpool.

There’s always something going on, from massive city-wide celebrations to underground shows, we love them all and we reckon you will too. Take a look at our top events.

Exhibitions in our many free to enter museums, from world-class art from the likes of Theaster Gates at Tate Liverpool, to Linda McCartney at Walker Art Gallery.

Musicals direct from the West-End at the Liverpool Empire, scouse comedy at Royal Court Theatre and upcoming local talent at smaller venues throughout Liverpool.

M&S Bank Arena and festivals of thousands to gigs in the likes of the world famous Cavern or the Baltic Jewel, Camp and Furnace. We even put some of our very best venues in the spotlight, such as the Liverpool Cathedral, St George’s Hall and the Philharmonic for special one-off nights from Cream and the Philharmonic Orchestra - or both, at once.

Music is something you’ll never be short of in this UNESCO City of Music. More on music? Have a browse of our blog showing you all the reasons that we hold this unique accolade.

We've got festivals of all kinds from pop music in the park at LIMF to emerging talent at Sound City as well as Positive Vibrations festival.

Comedy at St George’s Hall, folklore at the Albert Dock, food and drink at Sefton Park, comedy across the city - that’s a given - flowers, festivals and aeroplanes. World-class sports from footie, to gymnastics, to golf, boxing .. the list is endless. We are the UK’s leading Sports City after all.

Pop over and see us, we’re sure you’ll find an event you fancy whether you’re a lover of culture or sport. View a full list of events here.
