Home > Liverpool Philharmonic Hall
The Liverpool Philharmonic Hall is home to a variety of events including rock and pop concerts, roots, jazz and folk gigs, classical music, festivals and comedy. It also, houses the only working Waltadaw screen in the world that rises from the stage accompanied by our resident organist. We show an assortment of films from classics to new releases.
In addition to the main Art Deco auditorium, we also hold a series of intimate After Eight gigs in our Rodewald Suite. This is a selection of roots, blues and unplugged music in an informal cabaret setting. There is a rooftop terrace, in-house bar and the opportunity to meet the artists at the end of the evening.
The hall is home to the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra (RLPO); one of the world's oldest concert-giving organisations, giving over 60 concerts a year, with world-class artists. The principal conductor is Vasily Petrenko.
The orchestra's associated ensembles, choirs and Merseyside Youth Orchestra also perform at the Liverpool Philharmonic Hall as well as giving a variety of venues and events across the region.
