Please tell us a bit about Livertours Liverpool.

 

Livertours Liverpool, a locally based professional guiding service offers a range of bespoke destination tours. I do most of the tours myself but also use some of the best tour guides in the Liverpool City Region.

 

All of my guests can choose from a range of pre-built walking or car tours or ask me for something more bespoke. All itineraries are tailored to suit the interests and needs of every visitor, big or small.

 

 

Tell us a bit more about you, the owner behind Livertours Liverpool. 

 

 

I’m a qualified Green Badge tour guide, with a Master’s degree in The Beatles.

 

I have 30 years' experience of working within the local tourism industry and hold several academic qualifications including a Master’s degree in ‘The Beatles, Popular Music and Society’, an award that makes me one of the most qualified tour guides in Liverpool.

 

I am also the vice chair of the Liverpool City Region Tour Guides Association and I’m hugely passionate and knowledgeable about my city.

Some key features of Livertours Liverpool are the fully bespoke tours on offer, with itineraries that can be tailored to suit the interests and needs of every visitor.

 

I gained my Masters degree (MA) in 'The Beatles & Popular Music in Society' in 2015 with merit from Liverpool Hope University after studying part-time alongside my job working in The Beatles Story visitor attraction, so you can guarantee I know a thing or two about the Fab Four, and your delegates will leave a tour with more knowledge about The Beatles than they started with.

I'm hugely passionate and knowledgeable about my city and specialise in themed walking tours that incorporate the history of Liverpool, its music, football, film and TV and so much more.

Livertours Liverpool is a benefit to the conference audience because all the tours can be bespoke for any kind of group whether they are big or small or on a time schedule.

 

I have worked with many conference events over the years offering walking tours fitting in with organisers events or guiding from coaches, so can do tours that are weather dependent too.
