Welcome to the VisitLiverpool Media Centre
Liverpool is honoured to host the Eurovision Song Contest 2023 on behalf of Ukraine and we warmly welcome national and international media to the city for this iconic event.
We look forward to working with you to support your coverage and making your experience as smooth as possible.
The Grand Final will take place on Saturday 13 May at Liverpool Arena following Semi-Finals on Tuesday 9 and Thursday 11 May.
The bulk of the Eurovision action will centre around Liverpool’s famous waterfront. The contest itself will take place at Liverpool Arena whilst the Eurovision Village, a place for fans to gather and celebrate the unquestionable joy of Eurovision, will be located further along the waterfront at the Pier Head, open from Friday 5 - Saturday 13 May.
Liverpool will also host a special EuroFestival in the two weeks prior to the final (Monday 1 -Sunday 14 May), featuring 24 brand new art commissions throughout the city, including 19 that are extra special collaborations between UK and Ukrainian artists.
Media support will be available in Liverpool for Eurovision at various points. Within both the media centre at Liverpool Arena and the media stand at British Music Experience there will be a dedicated team to guide you through broadcasting and reporting from Liverpool. This support includes local intel on the best filming locations and assistance arranging interviews with key local figures.
