Exploring Liverpool's Quarters: Cavern

 

For anyone who makes a pilgrimage to one of the most famous clubs in the world, The Cavern, this is an area to know about. Cavern Quarter is made up of the iconic Mathew Street and surrounding streets. The streets here house iconic music venues, a Beatles Museum and of course The Cavern Club and Cavern Pub. 

 

Here visitors can say hello to Cilla Black and John Lennon and take a look at the Liverpool Wall of Fame. Just around the corner on lower Stanley Street is where visitors can find Eleanor Rigby, sitting alone reading a copy of the Liverpool ECHO. 

 

Cavern Quarter is a bustling, lively part of the city characterised by its popular pubs, night spots and live music. At night, colourful projections and lights bring the area to life.
