From 1977 to 1984, Wirral-born music icon, Pete Burns worked as a store assistant in the original Probe Records store. He became known for his outlandish style and criticism of customers' music taste!

The best news is, there is a Dig Vinyl on both sides of the Mersey. With one store located on Bold Street and another on Banks Road, West Kirby.

The iconic record store Rough Trade has arrived in Liverpool and is their largest location in the UK. Opening on 18th April, the new store is home to two floors, the ground floor housing a selection of records and a cafe whilst the first floor is home to a dedicated venue space for gigs and a host of other events. 

With a wide range of music titles on vinyl across a generous mix of genres, this exciting new store is a must-visit when in Liverpool.
