Malmaison 

Malmaison Bar & Grill on Liverpool’s Waterfront underwent an incredible refurb in 2023, opening up the bar and grill with bright colours and a modern interior. The fusion-style grill restaurant offers a contemporary dining experience with classic and seasonal dishes.

Choose from 2 (£27.50) or 3 (£32.50) courses for your Sunday Lunch at Mal. To begin, the Chef's Table is a selection of unlimited hors d’oeuvres including a selection of salads, antipasti & seafood! Choose from grass-fed British beef or corn-fed chicken alongside all the trimmings including Yorkshire puddings and lots of gravy! Titanic Hotel Liverpool

Make the most of the colder weather and savour a Sunday roast at Titanic Hotel Liverpool’s restaurant, Stanley’s Bar and Grill. All served with crispy roast potatoes, seasoned fresh vegetables and gravy, choose from a selection of dishes for the main event, including Roast Sirloin of Beef, Half Rotisserie Chicken and more, as well as a delicious plant-based version with vegan gravy.

Gaucho

The stunning Argentinian Steakhouse, Gaucho on Water Street offers a Sunday Roast Menu of three different perfectly roasted meat cuts, accompanied by roast potatoes, Yorkshire puddings, seasonal vegetables, and red wine gravy.

Aside from being one of the grandest restaurants in Liverpool, housed in an impressive old bank building, Gaucho also offers carbon-neutral Argentinian steak and a sustainable dining experience which you can read more about on their website.

Tucked upstairs on the mezzanine level of Duke Street Market, Barnacle is the creation of Kieran Gill, Paul Askew and Harry Marquart their focus is on locally inspired cuisine that reflects Liverpool’s global history through dynamic meat, fish, and vegan menus, all shaped by the markets and seasons.

Sunday service is available 12pm - 4pm every Sunday and includes a 3-course menu for £52. You can also choose from additional chef snacks including mixed nuts, fresh bread and even chips and cheese. For those who want to really indulge on a Sunday, add on a cheese board of 5 cheeses with crackers, chutney and grapes for £15.00.

The Blackburne Arms 

The Blackburne Arms is on Catharine Street in Liverpool's Georgian Quarter and is what you'd picture if you said a classic British pub. They are pretty famous for their roasts and for good reason. A roast with all the trimmings served in cosy pub, followed by a walk around the Georgian streets is one of the finest ways to spend your Sunday. Make sure you book in advance though to avoid disappointment.

Pieminister

If you love pie, then you guessed it, Pieminister is the place for you. Head to Bold Street for a Sunday Lunch with a difference. 

Every Sunday, Pieminister bring their take on a classic Sunday roast. Think award-winning pie, creamy mash and lashings of gravy, all topped with Yorkshire puds, carrot & swede mash, baby roasties and a free-range pig in blanket and pork scratching or stuffing balls. Glorious Sunday Albert's Schenke

Part of the Albert's family -  (Remember Albert's Schloss?) Well Glorious Sundays at Albert’s Schenke on Hanover Street, are a little more laid back than at Schloss - think Bavarian decor, roaring fire, classic biers and cocktails and live (but less extravagant) entertainment.

Sit down for either a two (£22) or three-course (£27) Sunday lunch at the Bavarian-inspired eatery and enjoy everything from slow-roasted pork to a topside of Lancashire beef, roast chicken and sweet potato strudel.

Ma Boyle's is one of the oldest pubs in Liverpool and is one of the cutest hideaways, tucked away in the courtyard of St Nicholas Church, opposite the stunning Royal Liver Building. 

Head over to tuck into Ma's Sunday roast and pick from beef, crispy pork belly, nut roast or chicken and pair it with all the trimmings and a rich gravy - sounds amazing, doesn't it!? Roasts are priced between £15.50 and £16 so at that price it sounds even better! Served 1pm - 9pm.

Ten Streets Social 

Located in Liverpool's regenerating Ten Streets area, located within the North Docks and close by to where Everton FC's brand new stadium will be. Sundays in the Ten Streets converted warehouse has a brilliant, family atmosphere with live music and people of all ages enjoying a roast and a Sunday tipple together. Roasts are served from 12pm - 6pm and the menu includes the traditional beef, chicken or nut roast meals with the trimmings alongside salads and fish and chips.

Nova Scotia

Nova Scotia, set within Mann Island on Liverpool's iconic waterfront offers roasts like the chicken supreme, crispy pork belly, slow-roasted beef brisket or delicious nut roast. Served with all your favourite trimmings including huge Yorkshire puddings, crispy roasties, fresh vegetables and even a side of Nova's signature Scouse. 

Why not visit the Museum of Liverpool and then head over to Nova Scotia just metres away from 1pm - 6pm for a hearty Sunday Roast.

LEAF

Liverpool's favourite tea shop not only serves the finest loose-leaf tea on BOTH sides of the water, but they also serve a superb roast dinner. Order your traditional roast with roasties and veggies and then take it to the next level by ordering extra trimmings like pigs in blankets and finish off with in-house made desserts. 

Sunday Roasts at LEAF are served in their Smithdown Road venue in Liverpool and Black Horse Hill venue in Wirral.

NORD

NORD is a collaboration between Graffiti Spirits Group - who own several fun bars and restaurants in Liverpool - and Executive Head Chef, Daniel Heffy the restaurant takes inspiration from the bistros of Scandinavia. The Sunday specials at NORD are specially designed for sharing and made up of ingredients sourced from independent, family-run producers. 

To begin, diners can choose from a rotating selection of small plates including black pudding scotch egg, grilled beetroot and more before the main event, Grilled Pork Neck, Roast Chicken and Grilled salt-baked celeriac steak. NORD's delicious roast starts January 14 and runs 1pm - 5pm.
