Coco

The new addition to Castle Street, Coco, is a cocktail bar not to miss! Serving coffee and patisseries by day and expertly made cocktails by night Coco emanates its theme of “late nights, early mornings”.

Their menu covers all the classics such as Cosmos, Martinis, Mai Tai’s and Mojitos of all flavours, to be enjoyed while admiring Coco's avant-garde interior. The day-to-night venue features both live artists and DJs through the weekend, to add to the ambience of your visit. So if sipping cocktails in comfy booths, under neon lights seems like your thing, come on down to Coco.

Neighbourhood

Neighbourhood is one of Liverpool's most iconic bars, and certainly one of its liveliest. Neighbourhood occupies one of Castle Street’s listed buildings and former banks, observable in the venue's architecture which exudes the bold luxurious personality of the Neighbourhood brand. Their cocktail list ranges from cult classics to house signatures all served with a sprinkle of style (and on weekends entertainment!)

Ball Park Liverpool

Liverpool's first adult ball pool cocktail bar Ball Park is the perfect spot for you and your friends to get sipping! Housing a giant ball pit and swing, a ping pong table, arcade machines and loads of ultraviolet graffiti, Ball Park is the perfect bar for a night out on the town. Their cocktail list is extensive with many of their drinks served as funky and wild as the bar itself. One thing is for sure, there’s nothing quite like it around!

Red Door

For great service, and extraordinary drinks enjoyed to a soundtrack of classic tunes check out Red Door. Situated on Liverpool’s Berry Street next to The Bombed Out Church, Red Door is a Liverpool hotspot not to miss out on! Popular with students and locals alike Red Door serves up a wide range of drinks from the golden age of cocktails to modern-day favourites. While we're sure you’ll find a drink (or a few) on the very extensive menu, if your favourite is missing Red Door promises to craft it anyway, what’s not to love?

Alcotraz

While this one is more of a cocktail experience than a cocktail bar it's one we definitely couldn’t miss off our list. Alcotraz promises to be one of the most unique cocktail bars in Liverpool! Enter Cell Block Three-Six, a secret home to a speakeasy prison, smuggle in your contraband and enjoy specially made cocktails for you and your gang!

This bar requires customers to B.Y.O.B (bring your own booze!) as entry is ticketed, once you’ve sneaked the bottle past the warden the bartenders will be happy to craft an array of drinks from the liquor of your choosing. So grab an orange jumpsuit and come down to the bar behind bars!

Ex-Directory

Step into the red phone box and prepare yourself to party. At first glance, this Liverpool bar may appear as nothing more than an old-school telephone box, but pick up the handset and give them a call and see there’s more than meets the eye.

Through the secret door and down the stairs you will find a boozy underground sanctum! This cocktail bar is quirky, chic and cool with the drinks to match serving its own signature cocktail range and of course, the cult favourites in funky cups you’ll just wanna take home. Booking is advised to avoid disappointment.

Berry And Rye

Ranked 28th in the UK’s top bars list Berry and Rye is notoriously difficult to find but unequivocally worth the wait! They describe themselves as “a prohibition-themed Scouse bar put together with great attention to detail” and once you find it “you’ll discover a bar filled with jazz, blues and more gin cocktails than you can shake a stick at.” So if cocktails with a drop of style are to your taste, discover Berry and Rye and transport yourself through time!

Top tip: look for a black awning in between Bunch & HK Hair Salon, and knock!

The Roof at PINS

Punted as the cooler, younger brother to the main venue of PINS Social Club, The Roof Project embraces a scratchy urban feel, with cocktails to suit. From the ‘Big yellow taxi’ to the ‘Norman F*cking Rockwell’ to the ‘One for You, One for Me’ menu for groups or for those that are feeling thirsty!
