Children will love the challenge of the UK’s largest inflatable obstacle course! The massive castle-themed inflatable course is over 600ft long, with slides, tunnels and challenges galore. This adventure is almost guaranteed to tire the children out.

Island of Foam

31 August

Liverpool ONE

Island of Foam – an ambitious, temporary shape-shifting artwork will take over Liverpool ONE’s Sugar House Steps (near John Lewis) on the afternoon of Saturday 31 August. The brainchild of German artist Stephanie Lüning, the brightly coloured foam will slowly take over an area of the steps starting at 2pm, growing and constantly taking shape, ultimately making the steps disappear.

Anish Kapoor 'Monadic Singularity'

10 August - 15 September

Liverpool Cathedral

To celebrate its centenary in 2024, Liverpool Cathedral is welcoming an exciting and UK-first exhibition by the acclaimed sculptor Anish Kapoor.

Renowned for his iconic works, such as Cloud Gate in Chicago and the Orbit Tower at the Olympic Stadium, this landmark exhibition, ‘Monadic Singularity’ marks the first time Kapoor has presented a solo exhibition in a UK Cathedral.

Summer of Sport

28 August - 8 September

Liverpool ONE

Join Liverpool ONE for the ultimate Summer of Sports as they bring you the biggest sporting events to the big screen. Having previously shown Wimbledon and the Olympic Games, you can catch the Paralympic Games live on a giant screen from 28 August - 8 September.

They also have everything you need to enjoy the experience to the fullest – delicious food, refreshing drinks, and plenty of outdoor seating for your comfort.

The Wombat Jazz Festival

1 September

St George's Hall 

The Wombat Jazz Festival, the first of its kind in Liverpool, brings together a selection of the best jazz in Liverpool and will debut on Sunday 1 September 2024, at the iconic St George’s Hall.

This ground-breaking festival celebrates jazz as a dynamic and diverse Black art form, nodding to the vibrant culture of Liverpool and the roots of jazz and introducing you to jazz greats of tomorrow.

EONARIUM Enlightenment

St George's Hall

Explore the four seasons through a breath-taking visual and auditory experience, and immerse yourself in a unique perspective of spring, summer, autumn, and winter. During this 30-minute spectacle, let yourself be enchanted by the iconic melodies of Vivaldi’s ‘Four Seasons’ accompanied by spectacular visuals. It’s a complete immersion in a historical monument dating back to the 19th century.
