Brave explorers will have screamingly good fun at Knowsley Safari this October Half Term, Saturday 24th October until Sunday 1st November, with creepy characters, trick-or-treat challenges, secret codes, Halloween crafts and plenty of prizes – and grown-up ghouls will be frightfully pleased as kids are half price when booking online before 11th October.

As families encounter the Halloween trail on the Foot Safari, they'll meet mischievous characters including the Poo Keeper and Safari Chef. They’ll get hands on solving spooky clues, collecting stamps and uncovering fascinating wildlife facts. The eerie adventure culminates in the spooky tipi, where successful code-crackers can claim sweet treats and celebrate their sleuth skills!

Young adventurers can also unleash their creativity with a programme of fang-tastic Halloween crafts, creating their own spooky masterpieces to take home.

For visitors of all ages keen to show off their creepy couture, a fancy dress competition will be running via social channels for a chance of winning a family ticket to the Safari’s Enchanted Christmas event, or a future Safari day ticket – so don a boo-tiful costume and get your spook on!

Head of Marketing & Sales at Knowsley Safari, Helena Berry, says:

"This year’s Halloween activities combine Halloween fun with opportunities to learn more about animals, wildlife and conservation through hands-on play, puzzles and interactive experiences.

"We're looking forward to seeing families taking part in our animal-themed Halloween adventures that are packed with more treats than tricks. It's a wonderfully wild way for the whole family to spend October Half Term together, and with children going half price for advance online bookings there's never been a better time to visit."

Alongside all the Halloween excitement, visitors can enjoy Knowsley Safari’s regular adventures including the five-mile Safari Drive, home to Southern white rhino, zebra, Bactrian camels, Somali Wild Ass, ostrich, and baboons; as well as exploring the Foot Safari to meet Amur tigers, Nubian giraffes and curious meerkats.

Halloween activities are included in the regular admission price. One child goes free per full paying adult if booked online before 11th October 2026. For full terms and conditions, more information and to book tickets, visit: www.knowsleysafariexperience.co.uk/events/halloween.
