Have you narrowly missed out on tickets to the 2025 Guinness Six Nations Championship?

Well don’t worry, we’ve got you covered with some of the best places to watch the live screenings, right here in Liverpool.
The Guinness Men’s Six Nations Championship begins with a nail-biting round of matches on 31 January, featuring Ireland Vs England, Scotland Vs Italy and France Vs Wales, concluding on 15 March 2025.


We’ve put together our Top 10 list of best venues to watch the championship, all perfect for watching the mauls, rucks and conversions that will be happening over the next few weeks.

 

BOXPARK Liverpool

Located in the creative hub of Liverpool, Baltic Triangle, BOXPARK is well known for being the home of live sporting events, particularly football. With a large venue in Liverpool and local street food traders, it’s the perfect venue to watch the Six Nations on the big screens.
After the full time whistle, why not try your hand at a game of pool or get a dessert from the food vendors?

Punch Tarmeys

The home of live music, good ‘craic’ and a guaranteed fully stocked bar. Punch Tarmey’s is Liverpool’s premier Irish bar and the best spot in town to watch Ireland and the other five teams in the Six Nations. No ticket is needed for this venue with guaranteed tackles, scrums, good viewing, oh and the promise of great atmosphere.
Once the match is finished, stick around and try out the Punch Tarmey’s A la Carte menu, featuring Crispy Buttermilk Salt & Pepper wings, the Ultimate Nachos Stack or a full Irish breakfast.

The city’s original competitive socialising venue is the perfect place to watch some, or all of the Six Nations games, especially because they offer 22” New York-style pizza…the most delicious way to watch the rugby! PINS are showing all the Six Nation games from 31 January up to 15 March.
There are also several games to play in PINS from bowling, beer pong, tech darts, shuffleboard and more. Be sure to let your competitive streak out after the intense 80 minute match.

Open: Monday & Thursday 3pm – 12am, Friday & Saturday, 12pm – 2am and Sunday 12pm – 12am.

Gravity MAX

Home to the largest rooftop terrace in Liverpool, featuring a big viewing screen, Gravity MAX is the perfect venue to get up close and personal with the Six Nations games. The terrace is weatherproof, so rain or shine it will be open for you to get the best view in the house.
Booking is strongly advised, so be sure to book the best seat in the house. You can even enjoy some delicious food from the vendors or get ready to watch the match with a cocktail or two.

Liverpool Bierkeller

With more screens than your eyes could imagine (65 to be exact), Bierkeller is set to have you ready for a good scrum. With the option to watch one of 65 screens, you can try a delicious cocktail, or choose from a wine, cider or glass of prosecco.
During halftime,  let your competitive streak come out with a game of pool, winner buys the next round perhaps?!

Ropewalks and Mathew Street


One of the most well-known Irish pubs in Liverpool, this is your spot for a guaranteed screening of the Ireland games during the Guinness Six Nations championship. With daily food deals changing throughout the week, a breakfast, lunch and dinner menu option or even ‘wee bites’, you won’t go hungry.
While watching a match, don’t forget to try one of our personal favourites cocktails, the Rose of Tralee.

The Bridewell

Rugby with a side of history? Go on then! The Bridewell is an astonishing converted Victorian Gaol where you can sit with a nice cold pint and bask in an old prison cell.
The Bridewell shows a range of sports channels from Sky Sports, TNT Sports, Sky Sports Racing and Racing TV. There’s something for everyone on offer here, no matter what team you want to cheer on. All this with an extensive drinks’ menu offering up wine, beers, gins, runs and fringe spirits.

Harrisons Bar & Kitchen

This small independent, family-run business provides all you could want while watching an intense game of rugby.  Freshly cooked food ranging from small plates, ciabattas, Sunday Roasts and more. Harrisons offer plenty of screens to watch the Six Nations and they have talented musicians who entertain all weekend.
After some food and a game of rugby, take a short walk to Mathew Street and continue the fun long into the evening at The Cavern Club, where live music is played daily.

Blackstock Market

This venue is quite new to the city, having opened in 2024. Blackstock Market is Liverpool’s premier venue for live entertainment. The venue is also home to the famous Hot Water Comedy Club, offering the chance to get some laughs after watching a good rugby match. 
With the option of watching the match on one of 20 screens throughout the venue, you will be guaranteed to not miss a thing. Be sure to book a table though because this venue does get busy. Under 18’s are welcome until 10pm and we think they may enjoy one of the nine street vendors too! 

Open: Wednesday - Thursday 4pm - 11pm, Friday 12pm - 12am and Saturday - Sunday 11am - 12am. 


Brookhouse Liverpool 

Smithdown


A popular venue for students in Liverpool, Brookhouse is situated on Smithdown Road which is a short bus ride from the city centre. There are several screens which will be showing the Guinness Six Nations, starting on 31 January with France Vs Wales at 8:15pm.
The Brookhouse is offering 40% off food up until 31 January too, and with a tasty food and drink menu, you’ll be spoilt for choice.
