Wirral’s Cosmic Cape Music Festival will be giving away a free ticket every time England scores a goal at EURO 2024, celebrating the Lightning Seeds' headline slot, the band behind the iconic England anthem "Three Lions."
If England wins EURO 2024, Cosmic Cape will be Lightning Seeds' first festival appearance after the team's triumph, ensuring an unforgettable celebration!
EURO 2024 kicks off on June 19th, with England as the favourite to win the tournament. Fans across the country will be rallying behind the national team by singing Lightning Seeds' "Three Lions," widely regarded as the unofficial anthem of English football since 1996.
Every time England scores and the opposing team kicks off, the festival will upload a one-time-use free ticket code to their Instagram Story (@cosmiccapefestival). Followers will need to race to the website and be the first to redeem the free ticket.
The football fever at Cosmic Cape extends to The Kids Field, which features two football pitches and numerous football activities. Additionally, something special is planned if England wins the tournament the week before.
Cosmic Cape Music in Capenhurst, Wirral features a diverse lineup, from iconic acts like Lightning Seeds to emerging artists like CVC and everything in between. Many of the north-west's top food vendors will be present, and there is a field dedicated to family activities.
For those who prefer not to be glued to the football, Cosmic Cape tickets are available for just £30 at cosmiccape.co.uk, with discounted family tickets also on offer.
Ian Broudie, Lightning Seeds:
"We've heard great things about Cosmic Cape, so we are all really excited to play the festival. It’s going to be a day to celebrate local music and community, and who knows, maybe we’ll be celebrating a European Championship too!’
Luke Done, Cosmic Cape Festival Co-Owner:
“The idea of giving away tickets is always scary as a festival organiser but given Lightning Seeds are headlining this just felt too fun not to do! I'm sure I'll get over it fast enough if we're listening to Three Lions on the 20th of July and England have just won the EUROs.”
