Byron at Liverpool ONE is in the perfect location to grab a burger post shopping trip or before your night out. With all the classics including Cheese, BBQ and Chilli burgers you can't really go wrong in this American Diner style restaurant. The Big Smoke is a favourite amongst the locals though! They also have a large selection of chicken burgers and veggie and vegan options too.

Landing on Liverpool’s Wood Street recently to the excitement of many fans, Frost Burger is a 100% plant based burger joint created by Youtuber Monami Frost and has gone down a storm, their burgers make it easy to see why. Their huge vegan burgers would impress anyone looking for that perfect afternoon snack.

Free State Kitchen is a hidden gem of a burger place and one well worth seeking out. Serving up a contemporary twist on American classics, you’ll find some pretty impressive burgers here. From the classic American Cheeseburger, to Double Deluxe Burgers and a Garden Burger - everyone will find something to indulge in.

Another place to head if you’re on a plant based diet and in the mood for some burger junk food is Down the Hatch on Duke Street. The vegan and veggie comfort food basement serves up everything from burgers, loaded fries, and all the junk food you could ask for. It’s the perfect place to end those long days in the city or for curing a hangover...

Slim's is a New York style diner on Bold Street and they make burgers that will make you feel like you’re right in the heart of the Big Apple. From the classic double cheeseburger to a cornflake chicken burger and the vegan beetroot burger, everyone can dig in.

Yard and Coop on Hanover Street is the home of Buttermilk fried chicken and some of the best chicken burgers around. Best of all, you can enjoy your burgers sitting inside a chicken coop!

Honest Burgers is honestly one of the best places to head for a burger. Head down to their Bold Street venue where they are serving up their British beef patties and homemade rosemary chips with zero fuss. They even have their own special Liverpool burger in collaboration with local favourites, Hafla Hafla. Halloumi on a burger, need we say more?

This old-school Austin bbq burger & dive bar, Red Dog Saloon has burgers you’ll be thinking about for days later and with loads on the menu it might take you days to decide. There’s all the beef classics, chicken and veggie options too so everyone will be able to pick their favourite.

Not only do Brewdog do some of the best, juiciest burgers around, they also serve them with some quality recommended beer and your dogs can join you too! They even have a great veggie and vegan burger menu and on a Monday you can get 2-4-1 veggie and vegan mains.

Hidden down a side street in the Ropewalks area of town, find Pattersons, home to chicken, tunes, cocktails, beers and great burgers. Their famous fried chicken keeps people flocking to their hideaway and it makes for great burgers too. The staff favourite is the ‘Animal Farm’ but we think the whole menu looks great!

Cafe Tabac is a Liverpool institution and a favourite amongst the locals on a trip to Bold Street. Head to the top of the hill for a Tabac classic burger or pick from their mouth watering menu.

For something a little different head to Bakchich on Bold Street for burgers with a Lebanese twist. Pick from a wide selection of meats, fish or the vegan option and you won’t be disappointed with heading here for dinner.

With its waterfront setting and theatrical style restaurant, Stanley’s Bar & Grill at Titanic Hotel is the place to go to celebrate National Burger Day in style. Their mouth-watering 8oz Steak Burger is served with Swiss cheese, gem lettuce and dill pickle and rum ketchup; the perfect excuse to get out of the city and enjoy a summer's evening on the colonnades.

Gusto at the dock sets the bar high for vegan burgers, their tasty plant-based Moving Mountains™ burger is served with homemade Romesco vegan mayonnaise, creamy vegan mozzarella and a side of crispy skin-on fries or a fresh house salad.

Tate Liverpool’s juicy burger is the perfect post exhibition pick me up, comprising of slow cooked pork belly, pickled slaw and chipotle mayonnaise, served in a soft brioche bun with skin on fries.

It’s no surprise the ‘Masters of Steak’, Miller & Carter produce a mean burger with a 4-strong prime burger menu ranging from the Miller’s Dirty Burger, which is packed with aged Cheddar cheese, pulled beef barbacoa bearnaise, smoked streaky bacon, Monterey Jack, chorizo & special recipe burger sauce, to their flavoursome veggie burger made up of roasted fennel, quinoa & piquillo pepper.

The Dock’s resident rum experts, Smuggler's Cove offer a variety of hearty burgers to soak up their infamous rum cocktails, including their vegetarian friendly crispy Halloumi Burger which is served with red cabbage coleslaw and perfectly seasoned chips.

Peaberry’s Fish Burger gives the classic fish finger sandwich a grown up makeover, offering battered cod goujons, pickled red onions, tartare sauce, gem lettuce and beef tomato served in a sesame brioche bun with skinny fries.

Revolucion De Cuba's Cuban-inspired bar and restaurant's Burger Royale is the king of all burgers, an indulgent 6oz burger topped with smoky BBQ pulled beef, Manchego cheese sauce, crispy onions and fresh pickles, served in a lightly toasted bun with fries and rum mayo.
